No matter how many bombs were dropped onto the Balkans, no matter how many rapists from the globalization passed or will pass through the Balkan Countries, our people remain brothers, sticked together in a common destiny, the same future..

For all of us in the Culture Club of Florina, Athletics and Culture are bridges that should join the people together. We should really try to make these bridges, especially these days, stay strong and stable.

Among the other activities, chess is one of the most beloved children we have.

The 1st Youth Chess Balkaniad is a promise and a serious commitment at the same time. This commitment is how to find ways for the 2nd, the 3rd and many more Balkaniads to follow.

And due to the fact that we really loved the chess players from Bulgaria, Montenegro, Turkey and Greece, right now we are inviting them to come next year for the 2nd Youth Balkaniad which is going to be even better.

The last few days, the organizing committee has been missing Mr. Haralambos Antoniades because of a health problem he had.
